Travelex Begins Operating OKI’s RG7 Currency Exchanger at Two Stores at Narita International Airport 26 July 2013

Travelex Japan announcing the installation of OKI’s RG7 Currency Exchanger at two stores at Narita International Airport. Both machines will be operational by the end of July 2013.

Travelex began operating the RG7 Currency Exchanger located at Terminal 1 on July 19; the second machine, located at Terminal 2, is slated to begin operating July 26. The RG7 Currency Exchanger currency exchange machine is capable of simultaneously recycling deposits and accommodating withdrawals between Japanese yen and multiple foreign currencies, thereby automating exchange tasks and accelerating the pace of foreign currency exchange transactions. The deployment of these two machines follows the installation of the RG7 Currency Exchanger at the Haneda Airport International Terminal Station; the latter machine began operating March 4.

Travelex “Grand Front Osaka” Store Opening on 26 April 2013

Travelex Japan is opening a new store in the Grand Front Osaka Station City Complex on 26 April 2013.

The new Travelex store is located on the basement level of Grand Front Osaka North Tower, which is directly connected to Osaka railway station. Grand Front Osaka is one of the busiest shopping and accommodation complex to the north of Osaka railway station. With its excellent visibility and accessibility, this new Travelex store provides great convenience for customers in need of foreign exchange services when visiting the shopping centre, hotels and Osaka station.

Travelex expects a high demand from overseas travelers, and an increased traffic for the Grand Front Osaka City Complex.

Travelex Japan launches a new store “Keio Shinjuku” located within “Keio Travel Agency Keio Shinjuku station store” on 27 March 2013.

This new store is settled across the aisle from “Keio Travel Agency Keio Shinjuku station store” located in the first basement of Keio department store directly connected to the west ticketing gate of Keio Shinjuku station. With its excellent visibility and accessibility this new Travelex store provides great convenience with customers who book their overseas holidays and tours at this Travel Agency or with travelers from overseas doing sightseeing around Shinjuku.

This new Travelex “Keio Shinjuku” store is established by the collaboration with Keio Travel Agency for the second time following the opening of Travelex “Shibuya Mark City” store.

Thanks to the store location which is inside of the travel agency, Travelex can expect demand from the customers who are visiting overseas, and Keio Travel Agency can make an appeal its service to the customers who visit the store for money exchange as well. Travelex wishes to cooperate with Keio Travel Agency keeping and developing tight partnership each other.

Travelex Japan launches a new store “Odakyu Shinjuku” located within “Odakyu Travel Shinjuku West Travel Center” in the ground floor concourse of Odakyu Shinjuku station on 19 March 2013.

This new store is settled inside of “Odakyu Travel Shinjuku West Travel Center” located beside the ground floor west ticketing gate of Odakyu Shinjuku station. With its excellent visibility and accessibility this new Travelex store provides great convenience with customers who book their overseas holidays and tours at this Travel Center or with travelers from overseas headed off to Hakone taking “Odakyu Romancecar” or doing sightseeing around Shinjuku.

This new Travelex “Odakyu Shinjuku” store is established by the collaboration with Odakyu Travel Co., Ltd. for the first time. Travelex Japan celebrates its 10th Anniversary in March 2013

Travelex Japan K.K. (HQ: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President: Koji Nakashima) will mark its 10th anniversary on 14th March 2013.

Travelex Japan K.K. has established as a Japanese arm of Travelex Group (HQ: London, United Kingdom, CEO: Peter Jackson) in March 2003.
